Garment manufacturer PCCS Group Bhd plans to acquire the remaining 40 per cent stake in its Cambodian operations for $1.4 million cash, it was reported on Wednesday.

The Business Times said the group intends to buy 1,000 shares in PCCS Garments Ltd, which is currently owned by Cambodia Investment Ltd which had a 35 per cent stake and Goh Hout Hing which holds a five per cent stake.

The paper said the two vendors had invested $1.4 million in PCCS Garments in September 1999 and PCCS will pay for the proposed acquisition through internally-generated funds and bank loans.
