US apparel business Perry Ellis International has entered into a licensing deal with Delta Galil Industries for the design and distribution of its Ben Hogan socks.

Distribution through the agreement will initially concentrate on Wal-Mart Canada locations and on The companies believe the Ben Hogan sock collection complements the brand's golf apparel collection, which is currently available in 2,000 retail doors.

The sock collection will feature products that are "styled, designed and infused with superior performance features" like targeted cushioning, engineered ventilation, arch support and comfort welts, they noted.
