US apparel business Perry Ellis International has entered into license agreements with distribution firm 33 Joints for men's footwear under the Farah Vintage and Farah Classic trademarks.

Perry Ellis COO Oscar Feldenkreis said the deal with 33 Joints will allow it to expand into the footwear category.

Farah Vintage is a contemporary lifestyle brand, distributed in luxury department stores, young fashion chains, in speciality stores and online primarily in the UK and Ireland, aimed at the millennial consumer. Farah Classic provides a full sportswear collection targeted at department stores and is aimed at the more traditional British consumer.

In line with the main clothing collections, the Farah Vintage collection will target men aged 18 through 35, while the Classic collection will target men 45-plus. The new lines will launch in department stores in Europe for autumn 2015.

The agreement marks the second licensing deal for Perry Ellis this month. Last week, the company entered into a licensing deal with Delta Galil Industries for the design and distribution of its Ben Hogan socks.
