Value-priced online women's clothing retailer Mostly has officially launched its new e-commerce site in a bid to cash in on the rapidly-growing plus-sized apparel market.

The site offers a range of suit separates, skirts, sweaters, blazers and blouses in business and casual styles from top designers such as Ralph Lauren, DKNY, Rena Rowan and Eileen Fisher.

The North Carolina-based company’s move comes as latest figures show the USA’s plus-size fashion market is now worth $17.2 billion, around 20 per cent of the country’s women’s apparel industry.

"Women are sick of the stigma of not being able to fit a supermodel paradigm that seems to ignore the very existence of real-sized women in the real world," said Mostly Pluses founder and president Kim Cooke.

"Every woman deserves the opportunity to dress in style - regardless of her size - and at a price she can afford."
