Bucharest-based dye making company Policolor has reported a net profit of 1.61 million Euros ($1.48m) for the first nine months of this year with sales revenue comming in at 23.4m Euros ($21.2m.)

The figures represent an impressive 153 per cent profit increase on the same period last year.

At the end of August, the company raised its share capital to 71.2 billion Romanian lei ($2.4m) - a substantial increase from the 49.7bn lei ($1.7m) at the end of August last year.
