Luxury retailer Polo Ralph Lauren Corporation has appointed Jacki Nemerov as executive vice president.

Nemerov will be oversee adults' and children's wholesale brands, licensed apparel and accessories, and manufacturing.

She was most recently president and chief operating officer of Jones Apparel Group, where she held a variety of positions.

In a separate announcement, the Polo Ralph Lauren reiterated its earnings and revenue outlook for fiscal 2005.

The company said it predicts earnings of $2.35-$2.45 per share, assming revenue growth in the mid-teens, and gross-margin improvement of approximately 140 basis points.

For the year ended 3 April, the group earned $1.83 per share, on revenue of $2.65 billion.
