Pou Chen Corp, the world's largest sports shoe maker, has reported July revenues of NT$752 million, up by 0.40 per cent from the NT$749 million posted in the same month last year.

For the January-July period of this year cumulative revenue was NT$5.901 billion, a drop of 1.99 per cent from the NT$6.021 billion registered in the same seven months of last year.

The company, which has manufacturing affiliates in mainland China, Vietnam, Indonesia, the US, and Taiwan, projects revenue of NT$8.2 billion from sales of shoe materials and technical services this year.

The group turned out 115.2 million pairs of sporting and leisure shoes in total last year and sets a target of 120 million pairs for this year.
