The September edition of the Première Vision (PV) fabric trade show has been cancelled in line with new French government coronavirus regulations – and will be replaced by an "exclusively digital" version.

The show had been due to take place on 15-16 September at  Paris Nord Villepinte, but organisers have had to change their plans in line with the recent decision by the French government to ban the resumption of events of more than 5,000 people until after 31 October. Attendance would also have been hit by new travel restrictions in many countries to try to prevent a resurgence of Covid-19.

The temporary Digital Show will also take place from 15-16 September and will provide a showcase for Première Vision exhibitors' collections of more than 20,000 products including fabrics, leathers, accessories, yarns, denim, smart creation, designs and manufacturing. These can be searched by products or suppliers, with the ability to order samples or products by the metre through the Marketplace website.

There will also be new digital forums, seasonal inspirations and trends for autumn/winter 21-22, and some 20 free webinars addressing 'The Futures of Fashion.'
