2rt, the new British premium jeanswear label, has made a key addition to its team by appointing Gayle Sandiford as senior designer.

The new label, which launched to retailers in January has appointed Gayle to drive forward the design of its initial men's wear range which will hit independent retailers and high-end department stores nationwide in July.

Gayle brings with her over six years industry experience and extensive market knowledge. Experienced in designing both men's and women's wear for major high street chain stores and own label brands, Gayle's attention to detail and bold design style will reinforce 2rt's focus on individuality and quality.

Commenting on her appointment Gayle said: "I'm aiming to provide the brand with further trademark details that will become recognised as the brands own identity and unique selling points."

The initial 2rt range consists of a selection of ten styles of denim jeans, seven T-shirts, jackets, belts and hats. The overall feel of the range is worn-in, distressed streetwear aimed at urban-inspired males aged 18 to 30.
