The founder of French lingerie brand Princesse Tam.Tam, Loumia Hiridjee, and her husband were killed in last week's terror attacks in Mumbai.

Of Madagascan origin, Hiridjee set up the company with her sister Shama in 1985.

With an annual turnover of EUR78m (US$98.76m) and employing 590 staff, Princesse Tam.Tam was sold to Japanese group Fast Retailing at the end of 2005.

Hiridjee, who had moved with her family to live in India, still held a 5% stake in the label and continued to be consulted on the brand's collections.
