New York-based upscale women's wear and accessories brand Proenza Schouler has selected Centric PLM software to help provide a flexible system to support its future growth.

"We have a young, fast-growing company, known for exceptional design work," says COO and CFOPatrice Lataillade. "We need a systematic approach to our processes that will not compromise or stifle our creative focus."

The company will use the Product Specification, Material Management, and Calendar Management modules which will reduce the number of Excel spreadsheets previously used to manage the business.

"Getting to a single version of the truth about the product means our teams will not be sidetracked from their creative contributions by tedious inefficiencies," Lataillade adds.

One of the biggest gains is likely to come from the Material Management module, which will help manage material selection, sample development and production integration, as well as track raw materials and trims.

The Product Specification module will also manage grading variations between consumer fashions as well as the bold lines and styles of the runway, adds Lataillade.
