Sportswear and equipment maker Puma AG saw its worldwide brand sales, including those from licenses, exceed the billion Euro level for the first time in the company's history in its 2001 financial year. Worldwide sales grew 21.7 per cent to EUR1,011.7 million it said today. Footwear was up 34.5 per cent, apparel climbed 5.5 per cent and accessories up 31.6 per cent.
