Trading during the beginning of fiscal 2015 has been "encouraging"

Australasian children's wear brand Pumpkin Patch has described trading for the start of fiscal 2015 as "encouraging", and said its strategic review is "well underway".

In a market update, the company said its summer season collections have been "positively received".

The group also noted that full-year earnings after tax but before reorganisation costs will be between AUD1m (US$934,305) and AUD2m, which is in line with its guidance.

In line with the strategic review, Pumpkin Patch has revealed it will take an AUD12m charge to write down the value of stores and IT software assets.
