Candie's Inc saw net revenues for the for the second quarter ended July 31, 2001 grow 13.2 per cent to $31.9m ($28.2m). This increase was primarily driven by sales of Candie's branded women's footwear. In addition, sales through the company's ten retail stores doubled year-on-year to $2.2m, driven by three new stores and a comparable store sales increase of 35.8 per cent. Licensing revenues for the period were $1.3m.
