Quest will use PLM to support its growth plans

South American clothing retailer Quest has selected Centric Software to provide its product lifecycle management (PLM) software.

The company, which designs and develops jeans, tops, footwear and accessories for men and women, and operates 70 stores in Columbia, will use the Centric 8 PLM software to support product development, sourcing, materials management, quality management and merchandise planning.

Replacing its manual legacy system, Quest aims to gain more control over raw material costs in addition to overall better budget management.

Centric 8 will also help improve visibility, enable better decision-making, assure product quality, and allow Quest to make “go/no-go” decisions earlier in order to mitigate losses.

The company intends to expand into larger cities and markets, with plans to open five new franchise stores in Ecuador and Peru in the near term.

“Making our overall process more efficient is key to our ability to achieve our ambitious growth goals,” says Olga España, director of projects and processes at Quest.
