Ralph Lauren Corp's chief financial officer and senior vice president, Tracey Travis, has resigned from the company to pursue other interests.

Travis will leave the luxury apparel and accessories business on 30 July.

In an SEC filing yesterday (17 July), Ralph Lauren said it is considering both internal and external candidates to replace Travis.

Meanwhile, Robert Madore, senior vice president of finance will serve as interim CFO until a replacement is found. Madore, who has been with the company since 2004, is responsible for corporate finance, financial planning and analysis, capital management and financial reporting.
