Diversity is the word that best describes this week's list of the top-selling shoes, based on units sold. Four different manufacturers (Nike, Reebok, New Balance and K-Swiss) are represented by at least two models each in this week's top-10.

This week's most popular shoe, based on units sold, is Nike's Air Terra Sebec men's running shoe. The Nike running shoe was 25th just two weeks ago, but increased sales each of the last two weeks to claim the top spot this week. At number two is the Reebok Classic Leather white women's casual shoe, a top-three seller for three consecutive weeks. The Nike Air Jumpman Showcase men's basketball shoe increased sales to become this week's third most popular shoe.

At number four is the Reebok Princess white women's aerobic shoe. The Reebok aerobic model has remained a top-five seller for more than a month. The first of two New Balance (Boston) models on this week's list, the New Balance 608WTB women's cross trainer comes in at number five. Last week's top-seller is this week's number six shoe. The Nike Air Jordan Retro VI men's basketball shoe dropped to sixth after holding the top spot for the previous two weeks.

Making a steady climb up the footwear sales chart is the New Balance 803 ATD men's running shoe. The New Balance running shoe has improved its position each of the last three weeks. Increasing sales by almost 2,000 units, the Reebok Club C white/white men's tennis shoe moved back into the top-10 at number eight. Rounding out this week's list of the nation's most popular shoes are two shoes by K-Swiss (Westlake Village, Calif.), the Pentad white/platinum women's casual shoe and the Pentad white/platinum men's casual shoe. Both K-Swiss shoes jumped two spots to enter the top-10.
