Reliance Retail, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Reliance Industries, is to begin the roll-out of a country-wide network of 115 apparel stores at the end of this month according to local media reports.

An article in Business Standard says a total of 10 stores will be open by the end of the year, selling around 4,000 products across 94 brands, all manufactured exclusively for the company.

Products will include men's, women's and children's wear.

Reliance has already launched Reliance Fresh, a chain of fresh produce stores, Reliance Digital, a consumer durables and information technology store chain, and the Reliancemart hypermarket chain.

It is also working on Reliance Footwear and Reliance Lifestyle formats the paper said.
