High street fashion retailer, River Island, is rocking with its Winter 2000 collection.

The store has snapped up Elizabeth Jagger, daughter of Rolling Stones star, Mick Jagger, and top model, Jerry Hall, to model its latest womenswear range.

The young catwalk queen modelled a variety of outfits, including cream sheepskin jacket, gold wrap v neck top, camel trilby and figure-hugging jeans.

A spokeswoman for River Island said it was 17-year-old New York-based Elizabeth Jagger's first major modelling campaign since finishing her education.

The spokeswoman said: "We approached her agent and she agreed to model for us. In the past we've used her half sister, Jade Jagger to model for us.

"Elizabeth is a beautiful young woman with a fabulous sense of style. She loved the clothes and was an absolute natural.

"I think her mother must have given her a few tips. She knew exactly how to stand and what to do."

River Island, which prides itself on providing good fashion and good value in the UK high street, often uses stars for its PR shots.

"River Island takes its inspiration from a multitude of directions, influenced by international catwalks, pop music, videos and film," said River Island.

"Sophie Ellis Bextor is an ardent fan of high street shopping and she happily took time out of the recording studio to exclusively model the autumn/winter range.

"She loves to regularly shop in River Island and enjoys clothes that are glamorous, sexy and fun.

"Sophie is not just the girl of the moment having topped the charts with Spiller and signed a major record deal, she also has great style."
