Footwear and apparel maker Rocky Brands Inc is building on a long-time relationship with Mossy Oak to become exclusive licensee of its branded footwear in North America.

Under the new licensing deal signed with Haas Outdoors Inc, Rocky will produce and market of Mossy Oak brand hunting and casual footwear in North America.

"We're combining the power of Mossy Oak's brand among outdoor consumers with the strength of our distribution channels to create a winning partnership," said Rocky chairman and CEO Mike Brooks.

He added that the "price point of this footwear [which will retail for between $50 and $90] dovetails perfectly with our Rocky hunting footwear."

Mossy Oak specialises in developing and marketing modern camouflage designs for hunters and outdoorsmen, and its Break Up camouflage pattern will feature on the new footwear and hunting boots.

The collections will be distributed through shoe and sporting goods specialty retailers.

The agreement makes Mossy Oak the eighth brand that Rocky markets, including Rocky Outdoor Gear, Georgia Boot, Durango, Dickies, Zumfoot and Michelin.
