A raunchy Calvin Klein advert that features a male model wearing just a pair of bulging underpants was today cleared of being too sexy for the British public.

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) dismissed complaints the poster of model Travis Fimmel in his white underpants was indecent, sexually suggestive and demeaning to men.

The ASA ruled the photo was relevant to the product and unlikely to cause serious or widespread offence. In April, the billboard ad in London's Oxford Street was scrapped after women motorists slowed to look and created traffic chaos.
