Shirtmaker Thomas Pink has been criticised for paying two East End gangster's to appear in its latest advertising campaign.

The Police Federation and charity Victim Support say that the involvement of ex-cons Freddie Foreman and Tony Lambrianou, two former henchmen of the Kray twins, not only glamorises crime but also flies defies the ethical stance that criminals shouldn't use their notoriety for financial gain. 

The £1 million print and poster campaign by Vogue photographer Richard Burbridge will appear in London, the Continent and New York and uses the strapline: Soft on the outside, hard on the inside.'
