Vietnam saw a 20 per cent year-on-year rise in footwear export revenue in July, Vietnam News Agency reported the Ministry of Trade as saying.

July exports totalled $300 million in revenue, bringing export turnover for the first seven months of the year to over $1.7 billion.

The Ministry said the good performance was due to strong increases in markets such as the Netherlands, Taiwan, Japan and South Africa, as well as continued price increases.
