Fashion software supplier Simparel has promoted its president, Roberto Mangual, to CEO.

Mangual brings more than 17 years of executive-level apparel manufacturing and information management experience to the role, which will see him expand on his current duties and assume overall responsibility for all day-to-day operations and strategies.

"With today's frantic pace of changing customer requirements, Simparel is uniquely positioned to continue setting new standards in delivering real value and ROI to our clients," he said.

Mangual has rapidly advanced with Simparel since joining the company in 2012 as director of services. He was named vice president of operations in the same year and served as COO for four years before being promoted to the position of president in February of this year.
