Specialist manufacturer Fineline is relaunching the Slix women's swimwear brand, six months after acquiring worldwide rights to the Slix name.

The swimwear collection is being extended to include matching co-ordinates in plain and textured fabrics, along with vibrant prints from Italy, Spain and other European sources. New lines will launch in autumn 2002 with first deliveries of cruisewear in November and three phases for delivery during spring 2003.
"Above all," says Fineline managing director John Potter, "emphasis will be on retaining the fit, which is the hallmark of this famous household brand first launched in 1935."

Fineline claims to be the UK's largest privately owned swimwear and leisurewear designer and manufacturer with operations in the UK and Asia. It also supplies own-label clothing to major retailers such as Next, Asda and Oasis.
