Chinese sock manufacturer Zhejiang Orient Befit Socks Corporation (Orient Befit) has inked a licensing deal with US-based fibre producer Invista to use the Coolmax trademark for manufacturing, marketing, advertising, promotion, sale and distribution through online global channels, and offline channels in China.

The license agreement, which begins 1 July, lasts for seven years and was announced at the global launch of Orient Befit's new Coolmax Performance Socks.

The socks feature specially designed fibres that wick moisture away from the skin to the surface of the fabric where it evaporates. The easy-care fabric is breathable and keeps the wearer cool, dry and comfortable, says the company.
