Athletic apparel group Sport-Haley Inc has announced the departure of its president Bob Haley and the appointment of Mark Maley to the role of vice-president sales.

Haley, a 12-year veteran of Sport-Haley, is leaving the company at the end of March to pursue other interests.

"Bob has been active within the golf industry for more than 37 years," CEO Kevin Tomlinson said.

"(He) has contributed significantly to both Sport-Haley and the golf apparel industry."

Maley, meanwhile, will take responsibility for the company's Haley, Ben Hogan and Top-Flite apparel brands in his newly-created position.

"Mark has done a phenomenal job directing the Ben Hogan sales organisation and brings a refreshing approach to leading the other sales organisations of the company," Tomlinson said.

"Prior to joining the Ben Hogan sales organisation, Mark spent several years with ClubCorp."
