Leading designer, manufacturer and marketer of women's clothing, St John Knits International Inc, on Wednesday revealed a big jump in third quarter net profit amid a 10 per cent year-on-year climb in net sales to $88 million. The California-based company, whose fashions are sold principally under the St John and St John Sport by Marie Gray brands, posted net income of $5.7m, or 76 cents per share, compared to $3.8m, or 38 cents a share, last year.
