RFID label maker Tageos has inked a patent licensing agreement with Round Rock Research in a bid to strengthen its position and support the adoption of UHF RFID for apparel retailers and brands.

The agreement allows Tageos to provide RFID labels and tags to suppliers and end-users including retailers, brand owners and partners in the US and globally.

The adoption of item-level RFID is accelerating globally, with the technology helping retailers improve their business processes, inventory visibility and accuracy, and shelf availability.

"This agreement, along with our recent won deals with European leaders in luxury and retail apparel sectors, will allow Tageos to accelerate its development in the US and support RFID adoption", said Matthieu Picon, Tageos co-founder and CEO.
