Mongolian textile and clothing maker Eermel is planning to open its first wholly owned overseas sales office in the UK in spring 2005.

The fully vertically integrated enterprise concentrates on processing luxury fibres such as cashmere and camel hair.

So successful has its cashmere business become that this autumn will see new spinning plant installed in order to keep pace with demand.

It also makes finished garments and fashion accessory items, the majority of which are designed with the export in mind. The range is already being marketed in Germany.
