Greek textile manufacturer Hellenic Textiles is set to embark on a two-year, $19m investment programme.

The multi-million dollar sum will be used to raise production capacity and modernise dyeing and finishing equipment.

Bosses hope the investment will raise production capacity by 20 per cent next year to 24 million metres, against 20 million metres in 2001. The firm will also build a new spinning plant.
