Danish textiles and clothing exports rose by 1.3 per cent on a year-on-year basis in the first half of 2004, according to data from the Federation of Danish Textile & Clothing released today.

Shipments to Germany and Sweden - which make up 42 per cent of Danish exports - both dropped during the period, at 3.5 per cent and 3.7 per cent respectively.

The Federation said that Denmark is looking to increase shipments to the US and Canada in the future.
