Women's shoe company The Fashion House Inc has invested in the FootWorks Software System to support its plans for rapid expansion.

"We believe FootWorks will allow our business to reach the next level while giving us much better control over our assets and information flow," said Nikki De La Torre, director of operations for The Fashion House.

The company, a design, manufacturer, and licensee for women's designer footwear include the Richard Tyler Couture, Tyler.Richard Tyler and Nicole Miller New York shoe lines, needed to bring all its business applications together without outsourcing critical operations.

"We felt it was inefficient to use a third party for our EDI transactions and needed some flexibility for our sales team to communicate with our corporate offices," continued De La Torre.

Based in New Britain, Connecticut, FootWorks Information System provides a scalable suite of highly functional, integrated software modules specifically designed for footwear importers and distributors.
