Taking a look at the week ahead for the footwear and apparel industry, here is news editor Joe Ayling's snapshot of just-style's latest news and insights agenda.

It is expected to be another week of acclaim for Burberry CEO Angela Ahrendts, when the company reports an expected third quarter revenue rise tomorrow (18 January).

Analysts believe the luxury goods company will report a double digit sales increase, on the back of higher sales and doubled profits in the first half of the year back in November.

Meanwhile, many high street retailers in the UK are continuing post-Christmas promotions - and delaying the VAT increase in some instances - as they try to offset the effects of heavy snowfall during December.

In breaking trade news already this week, the Turkish government has announced anti-dumping duties on shipments of woven fabrics and ready-made garments from countries with which it does not have a free trade agreement.
