Thermal insulation specialist Thermore has unveiled its latest offering: a new synthetic thermal insulation that can stretch and move up to 40% and is designed for use in outerwear.

According to the company, its new Thermore Freedom thermal insulation offers four different levels of performance and keeps the wearer not only warm but comfortable as it continuously moves and adapts with the body.

As well as its stretch capability, it recovers to its original shape time after time, the company says. Also, it is available in a thin profile configuration to best fit the current trends in outerwear design.

The Milan-based synthetic insulation supplier adds animal rights group PETA has recently certified all Thermore products as being vegan approved. 

Founded in 1972, Thermore has today has operations in Europe, the US and Asia including production facilities in Thailand and offices in Hong Kong.

Earlier this year, it revealed  its 100% recycled and durable thermal insulation Ecodown is Bluesign and Global Recycling Standard (GRS) certified.
