Fashion company Tommy Hilfiger has relaunched its children's wear range with US retailer Macy's, continuing the companies' recently announced strategic alliance.

Tommy Hilfiger USA said its children's wear collection would be available exclusively at 200 Macy's stores from spring 2009, launching with the boys' and infants' lines.

The girls' line will follow in subsequent seasons, it said.

Polo shirts and denim bottoms are described as the "foundation" of the collection, with t-shirts, shorts and swimwear featuring strongly in spring/summer.

Autumn/winter designs include woven shirts, heavyweight knits and outerwear.

"Macy's customers have responded enthusiastically to the exclusive Tommy Hilfiger product in women's and men's categories, and we expect the children's collection will similarly resonate with families," said Janet Grove, Macy's vice chair and chairman of Macy's Merchandising Group.

The launch follows the establishment of a strategic alliance between Tommy Hilfiger and Macy's earlier this year.
