Supermodel Kate Moss has signed a new contract with fashion retailer Topshop, and will develop several new collections a year, including accessories and lingerie.

The project has so far launched eight seasonal collections distributed and sold in 22 countries worldwide.

The items have also been made available in Australia, Europe and the US via website topshop.com.

Topshop parent company Arcadia, owned by billionaire Sir Philip Green, said Moss's spring 2009 collection would go on sale in mid-March next year.

It will also be available at the launch of the company's flagship Topshop/Topman store in New York, also slated for March.

"I believe this has been a great partnership for both Topshop and Kate," said Sir Philip.

"Having had two years' experience, I am confident that Kate's collection now has the potential to become a significant global brand within Topshop."
