Arcadia Group is set to enter China with its first Topshop store in Hong Kong, opening in May next year.

The store will be opened in partnership with LAB Concept, the retail subsidiary of department store operator Lane Crawford.

LAB Concept will provide the retail space and operational expertise, including staff and logistics support, while Topshop will manage the merchandising.

The site will trade across 12,000 square metres over two floors. The ground floor will feature two distinct rooms, the first focusing on fashion and the second showcasing the brand's accessories and make up collections.

"I am delighted to be launching Topshop in Hong Kong in 2013, with Lane Crawford's LAB Concept as our chosen partner," Topshop owner Sir Philip Green said. "Their team's expertise in the Chinese market is invaluable to us.

"This is certainly a very exciting step in the continued growth of Topshop as a global, yet uniquely British, brand."
