Fashion retail group Arcadia is reportedly planning to open its first Topshop stores in Germany.

Topshop is allegedly in talks around potential locations in the country, according to Bloomberg. The fashion brand is looking to open flagship stores similar to the 30,000 sq ft store the brand opened in Los Angeles last month, the report added.

Arcadia, however, declined to comment when contacted by just-style.

The retailer, which also operates the BHS and Dorothy Perkins chains, has been working to expand the brand internationally, with market entries in the US, Brazil, Canada and Australia in recent years. Arcadia is to open its first Topshop store in Hong Kong in May.

The company saw its full-year pre-tax profit before exceptional items increase 25% to GBP166.9m (US$232.9m) on last year. Total sales were predominantly flat, but underlying UK retail like-for-likes fell 3.2%, while total like-for-likes edged down 0.7%.
