Track 'n Trail (NASDAQ: TKTL), a premier destination specialty retailer of branded casual, outdoor and adventure footwear, today announced that Mr. Ralph T. Parks and Mr. Ira Pickell have been appointed to Track `n Trail's Board of Directors.

Mr. Ralph Parks is a 30-year veteran of the shoe business. He was named President of FOOTACTION USA in November 1991 after serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the company since 1987. He retired in April 1999. Prior to joining FOOTACTION USA, Mr. Parks served as regional Vice President for Foot Locker from 1983-1986. Mr. Parks is the immediate past Chairman of the Board of National Sporting Goods Association and is a regular speaker and panelist at industry events. Most recently, he was inducted into the National Sporting Goods Association Hall of Fame.

Mr. Ira Pickell has played a leading role in the retail arena for much of his 32-year career in business. Most recently, Mr. Pickell was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Hudson Bay Department Stores, the largest traditional department store in Canada. Prior to that, Mr. Pickell held various executive level positions at Federated Department Stores, first as Senior Vice President of Footwear, Accessories, Intimate Apparel and Cosmetics, then as President, Chairman and CEO of Bon Marche. During his tenure at the Bon he was also named Principal Sponsor for all Footwear for the total Federated Department Stores as an additional responsibility.
