Luxury jeanswear business True Religion is considering a possible sale of the company along with other strategic alternatives after it has received interest from third parties.

The company said it has formed a Special Committee comprised of its non-management directors to explore the strategic options.

However, the Special Committee has not set a date for when the review will be completed and will not disclose or comment on developments during the process .

No decision has been made to take part in any transactions, True Religion said, adding that there can be no assurance that any deal or strategic alternative will take place.

The Special Committee has appointed Guggenheim Securities as its financial advisor and Greenberg Traurig as its legal counsel to help with the strategic review process.
