The Turkish Fashion Fabric Exhibition has moved to a new dateline so that it more closely follows the schedule of the major European fabric fairs.

By staging the event on 3-4 October, organiser ITKIB (The Istanbul Textile and Apparel Exporters Association) hopes UK-based designers will do their research in Milan and Paris, and then order in London.

As usual, the offer at the TFFE will be split between forward order collections (for autumn/winter 07/08), as well as short order and fast fashion options for winter 06/07 and spring/summer 07 too. Turkish mills can turn round orders in as little as three weeks.

Marks & Spencer, Next, Debenhams, Miss Selfridge, John Lewis, Principles, River Island, Top Shop and Tesco are among the many retailers who visit the show.

For this, its 9th edition, the TFFE will have around 80 exhibitors, covering a variety of fabric categories. It is also moving a new venue, Brompton Hall on the first floor at Earls Court One.
