Lancashire based Cloverbrook knitwear, dyeing and finishing group is to supply its export customers in the Middle East and Africa from a new plant now being set up in Egypt.

The company, which supplies Marks & Spencer as well sportswear specialists Nike, Adidas and Umbro, has chosen a site in the Nasr City Free Zone.

The first equipment was installed early in September with the aim of having the factory fully active by the end of 2002.
