UL-STR has announced plans to present two new textile seminars: an introduction to colour management, colour appearance and assessment, and an introduction to fabric and garment testing.

The two seminars will be held at the quality assurance tester's laboratory in Nottingham.

The introduction to colour management, colour appearance and assessment will cover hands-on information related to colour and its application to textiles. Attendees will learn how to make accurate visual colour decisions, avoid common colour mistakes, and visually evaluate colour more effectively to communicate colour needs to suppliers and manufacturing units.

The introduction to fabric and garment testing will review garment supply chain testing and the types of tests needed to meet international requirements for the main global markets. Attendees will learn about current global quality assurance practices and commercial awareness.
