Lithuanian knitwear manufacturer Utenos Trikotažas has reported a 14% fall in first quarter sales, but restructured its debts during the period.

Utenos' sales for the first quarter of 2010 reached LTL14.8m (EUR4.3m), while group sales for Q1 reached LTL17.1m - 17% less than during the same period last year.
Sales increased versus the previous quarter in the first quarter of 2010, the company said.

Utenos said it had agreed on favourable debts repayment schedule maturing in 2015, reflecting its existing level of business operations and cash flows.
