Italian fashion house Versace has moved the production and distribution of its VJC and Versace Sport lines away from IT Holding unit Ittierre, and licensed it instead to Facchini Group.

The decision comes six months after Facchini was awarded the license to make Versace's Versus brand of clothing and accessories.

The latest deal applies to VJC and Versace Sport women's wear, men's wear and accessories starting from the 2010 spring/summer season.

Ittierre and its parent company IT Holding, which also owns Milan fashion house Gianfranco Ferre, are currently being run by three government-appointed commissioners after filing for bankruptcy in February.

Ittierre also has licences for the Just Cavalli, Galliano and C'N'C Costume National fashion lines, all of which have been agreed or renewed in recent months.
