Eric Wiseman, who becomes VF Corporation's new chief next month, has outlined his executive leadership structure at the company.

VF has also announced that senior vice president - Global Operations, George Derhofer, has decided to retire at the end of the year after a 13 year spell.

With Derhofer's departure, Ed Doran, president of VF's Imagewear coalition, and Boyd Rogers, vice president and president - Supply Chain, will report directly to Wiseman.

Meanwhile, Martin Schneider, vice president and chief information officer, who also reported to Derhofer, will report to Bob Shearer, senior vice president and CFO. There are no plans to name a successor to Derhofer, added VF.

Mike Gannaway, who has been serving as vice president - Customer Management at VF, has been named vice president - VF Direct/Customer Teams and will report to Wiseman. Accordingly, Steve Fritz, president of VF's Outlet division, will report to Gannaway.

In addition, VF's coalition presidents will all report to Wiseman, the company added.

Wiseman, currently president and chief operating officer of VF, announced that the changes would become effective 1 January, when he assumes the title of president and chief executive officer.
