Apparel group VF Corporation has made two new appointments in line with its long-term expansion strategy.

Tim Dye has been appointed to the new position of president of distribution for North America. Dye previously held positions at Lee Jeans and VF Jeanswear and most recently served as supply chain vice president at VF's Imagewear division.

The company has also appointed John Strasburger to the new role of  vice president of Americas sourcing.

Strasburger previously held technical services, manufacturing and sourcing positions with VF, most recently serving as vice president of purchasing and sourcing (Americas) for VF Imagewear.

VF Corporation recently unveiled a five-year strategy to save $100 million in order to finance future expansion.

The company, which is the world's biggest jeans producer, also produces intimate apparel, sportswear, outdoor products and workwear under brands such as Lee, Wrangler, Riders, Rustler and Vanity.
