VF Corporation (NYSE: VFC) has announced an internal restructuring within its domestic intimate apparel businesses. The changes are strategically designed to establish a growth model for VF's extensive brand portfolio.

The reorganisation will be headed up by the newly appointed vice president and chairman of VF's Global Intimate Apparel Coalition, Eric Wiseman.

Eric Wiseman said: "We see a great opportunity to manage our brands by retail channel to maximise their strength in the United States market.This will ensure our ability to compete successfully in the marketplace."

The changes will see the mass brands being aligned to create partnerships with retailers in the mass markets channel and point-of-sale merchandising staffs of Bestform Inc and Vanity Fair Intimates Inc being consolidated into one group in an effort to improve service to VF's retail partners

These organisational changes will be implemented over the next two months.
