After three years of service, Horst Widmann has been unanimously re-elected as president of the Federation of the European Sporting Goods Industry (FESI).

He was elected for another three-year term at the FESI annual general assembly organised in Cologne on 31 October, following the election of FESI's new board.

Widmann, Puma's vice president, set some goals for the future of the European sporting goods industry in what he described as a turbulent geopolitical environment.

Frank Dassler, Jean Claude Fauvet, Giancarlo Zanatta and Alberto S Bichi were also appointed as board members.
